“Marc said I’m not his daughter,” As she said that, she could feel her eyes watering and started crying. She didn’t want to cry, “why doesn’t he want me as his daughter? Is it because of my dad or is it because of his mom? What did I do so wrong? Would you tell me what I did wrong?” Luna was crying while stumbling over her words. She couldn’t stop, she felt like the crying was never going to stop. Luna’s mom just looked at her heartbroken. She pulled Luna in for a hug, Luna hugged it extremely hard and couldn’t stop crying.
“Marc loves you, I think he was just upset with how his mom was acting that it went to you.” That doesn’t mean that he saw Luna as his daughter. She hated that more than anything. How could she look at Marc the same way when she found out how he felt toward her.
“Okay.” Luna stopped hugging her mom and just started going inside. She looked at Marc sitting on the leather couch in his usual spot. He looked at her with concern while she looked like she cried for days. Luna went to her room and closed the door. All she could hear was, “YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO YOUR DAUGHTER RIGHT NOW!” She knew that was her mom yelling at Marc to fix this problem. Luna just laid on the bed, staring at her popcorn ceiling waiting to see if Marc would actually come into her room to apologize. The argument got worse when she heard the front door open and slam closed, which meant that Marc left to “clear his head.” Which also meant, Luna wasn’t going to get an apology and now she looks exactly how Isabella claimed her to be, an issue. She felt her hair, the curls were gone just like the rest of her Christmas spirit.
