Chill Times cont.

The next day in science, she went to sit at Joaquin’s table. Luckily, her class wasn’t as big as the other ones so sitting at his new table wouldn’t cause any issues with another person telling Luna that she was sitting in their seat.
“Hi Joaquin, I’m sorry about the other day.” He looked at her with an annoyed face.
“Hey, I should be sorry. I shouldn’t have acted the way I did.”
“You had a right to be protective of me, but he isn’t as bad as people make him out to be. If anything, me and him aren’t talking because a question wasn’t answered correctly. I just want us to be good again, I miss our friendship.” She touched his hand after saying that line, he grabbed her hand and pulled her in for a hug.
“I just don’t like that you compared both of our friendships, I know that you had feelings for me but I also know that you care more about Oliver so I stopped trying to get that close with you. When I saw you with that dude and compared it, I got angry because I couldn’t tell if you actually cared about Oliver the way he made it seem. Hearing that you aren’t talking to him right now, makes me feel a little better.” Wow, she didn’t see it that way when she said that line but she should realize that her words do make a difference to some people.
“No, I love Oliver and he knows that already, he knew that Aaron was just a friend because he heard that Aaron has a girlfriend. Aaron just lives in the neighborhood and he sees me more than anyone else here in school. We hang out all the time in the neighborhood. Nothing to actually worry about and it shows that I should have chosen my words better. I truly am sorry.” We finally stopped hugging and he looked at Luna to see if she was genuine, she was.
“I forgive you, I hope you can forgive me for my actions. I shouldn’t have acted that way”
“I forgive you too. Now can you please come back to your normal table?”
“Sure.” He started packing his stuff into his bag, Luna grabbed his stuff on the table and put it on their table. Oliver looked at Luna with a relieved face as if this situation was going to ruin his and Joaquin’s friendship even though it wasn’t. She was happy, she fixed this problem because she hated knowing that she made an enemy for her words. The rest of the class time, she was happy to have Oliver and Joaquin back in her corner again. She doesn’t need Aaron after all, why did she need Aaron anyway? She asked that question to herself a lot.
