Chill Times cont.

Wearing a black dress was weird. She felt like she was going to a funeral, she could use the outfit for funerals but she knew she had to give the dress back. Plus, she didn’t have anyone die around her. She was happy to be doing the MPA, after ignoring Aaron after the no answer. She did miss him, but she didn’t care; she wanted a simple answer, even if he lied saying he had a bunch of friends that are girls but he didn’t. He said nothing. Luna let him go on the bus first, she sat with Lucy and focused on what Lucy was saying. She didn’t look back to see Aaron looking at her, but she didn’t have the strength to look at him. When she got off the bus, she said bye to everyone and avoided looking at Aaron.
“Luna! Are you ready??” She heard her mom yelling from the living room. Luna went out to the living room and she was ready to sing her heart out.
“Yeah I am ready for it all.” She was ready, she wasn’t going to focus on Aaron or any of the guys in her life. When Luna got to Plymouth High School, she didn’t realize that she would actually be performing in a fancier location. She never saw such a big stage and knowing that she’ll be singing on that stage was insane for her. She looked around for anyone she recognized, and she found Oliver.
“Girlie, you clean up well. What’s the special occasion?”
“Oh you know, just half of our grade so had to look nice. Have you seen Lorraine?” Lorraine was tall, she could have been a bit easier for Luna to find her but she couldn’t see her.
“She might be on her way here, don’t worry she will make it. Are we okay?”
“Yeah, why?” Please don’t bring up the other day. Please!
“Well, you freaked out and then got sad and today I noticed you and Joaquin don’t talk to each other at all. I am making sure that I didn’t do something without realizing it.” Of course, he would think he did something wrong after seeing her and Joaquin’s friendship got broken because he assumed the worst out of Aaron. Luna does need to apologize to him because he was just worried about her just like everyone else has been.
“No, you did nothing wrong. Things just went terribly wrong with me and Joaquin, I have to fix it.” He looked relieved because he didn’t want to be at fault for this problem.
“Okay, good. I mean it’s not good that there is something wrong, but I am glad that it wasn’t my fault.” She focused the rest of the night on the MPA. Lies! She was focused on how to fix things with Joaquin. She felt horrible about how they weren’t talking.
