End of the 6th Grade cont.

She got up and she saw Kaley crying.
“Hey Kaley, are you okay?”
“Of course, you would ask. Go ask your boyfriend!” Luna was confused to see down the hallway was Aaron, he looked annoyed.
“What happened with Kaley? Why is she calling you my boyfriend and telling me to ask you?” All valid questions.
“She asked me out and I told her that I don’t date girls that want to pick fights with younger kids. She assumed I was talking about the whole Kaley - Lucy drama. I was glad that you weren’t involved with that, but me and Derek had to talk to both Lucy and Kaley alone and then together so then the bus group wouldn’t be weird anymore. Didn’t you notice the silence for a whole week?” If Luna was completely honest, she was in her own world after fixing the Joaquin situation. She didn’t want to make it obvious to Aaron though.
“Oh, I just thought it was because of the amount of work everyone had to deal with from classes.” Bad excuse, but she doubted Aaron would question it.
“Yeah, well it was bad. Kaley and Lucy almost got into a fight one morning, where was your head during that timing? When it happened, you were zoned out looking at the entrance of the neighborhood?”
“If anything, I don’t remember why I was zoned out, but it was happening a lot for a while but I think I am better at controlling it now. That still doesn’t explain why she called you my boyfriend?”
“Cause she sees me always with you and she knows that me and my girlfriend broke up a couple months back because of me being a gentleman to you. Don’t let her get to you, we just got our friendship back, I don’t want to lose it because Kaley got rejected.” Luna didn’t know what to think, she felt bad for Kaley but she also felt bad for Lucy for not being there for her. Luna is quick to tell everyone she is there for them, but when Lucy needed her the most, she wasn’t mentally there for her. Luna knew the minute she sees Lucy, she was saying sorry for not being by her side throughout that craziness. Luna would understand if Lucy doesn’t see Luna as a friend anymore, she didn’t feel like she was a friend.
As she was going to her other classes before lunch, she just kept trying to figure out how to make it up to Lucy. She wouldn’t stop thinking about it. She wasn’t caring about what the teachers were saying because it was the last day of school. She knew they were all talking about the same things, so she looked out the door for the last two classes because she just wanted to leave. She truly did want to stay home today because it’s not like she would see these teachers again and they made it clear and she knew she wasn’t going to get homework for her next grade’s teachers because they don’t even know who they will have until the summer. She wanted to be in bed, but if she was in bed, she would have never learned about the Kaley and Lucy drama. One thing that kept staying in her head was why did Kaley think Aaron was Luna’s boyfriend, that could cause more issues for Luna with Oliver.
